voice

My commitment to our community

Who Am I?

I have lived in Mill Woods for over 35 years. Southeast Edmonton is the community where I grew up, the place I chose to raise my kids, and the community I will always stand up for.

I believe this City Council is steering Edmonton in the wrong direction, and I know many of you share that same concern. That’s why I created a survey of the top 20 issues I heard in my preliminary campaign conversations, as well as an open comment section for you to speak your mind. Your feedback will help ensure that we focus on the priorities that truly matter to the people of Ward Karhiio.

Throughout my campaign, I will make it my top priority to visit you at your door, so I can hear firsthand about your concerns and the challenges you're facing. If there are issues I haven’t yet addressed, I want to know, because I’m here to represent your voice—not just what’s on the agenda of City Hall.

Other politicians only listen to respond, giving you the same rehearsed answers without ever truly hearing you. I’m different. I will listen to understand what really matters to you. That’s why I’m the candidate who can truly represent you and your values on City Council—because I'm not here to play politics, I'm here to fight for you.

Get to Know Me

I believe the key to effective leadership is listening to the concerns and feedback of the people I aim to serve. Real progress happens when we come together and engage in open, honest dialog.

In a time when so many people feel unheard by their elected officials, I’m committed to being a different kind of leader — one who prioritizes your concerns and takes action based on your feedback.

Together, we can shape Edmonton’s future with bold, decisive actions we can be proud of.

Create Opportunity

Edmonton is a growing city. With growth comes the need for opportunity. People relocating to our city need jobs, housing, and access to starting businesses.  The opportunities presented have to make sense though. They have to benefit everyone and have minimal, if not zero, negative impact. This includes the creation or amendment of zoning bylaws.

Monitor and Measure

Are the decisions that CityCcouncil is making producing the proper outcomes?

Every project and plan needs to have clear goals, key performance indicators, and outcome tracking. If the plan isn't working and the goals aren't being met, the project needs to be reassessed.

Build Capacity

A well-managed and healthy functioning city needs appropriate infrastructure for the homes and housing units the people will live in.  Roads, pathways, sidewalks, and other means of transportation should be easily accessible and convenient to use.  The capacity built needs to equal the needs of the population.
